What are all the pieces of a Digital Signage system?
Let’s start with the obvious; you’ll need a TV or monitor; this is what we call a ‘screen’. Now, for each screen you will need a media player*. This small device plugs into the HDMI port of your screen and plays your content, it also allows you to control the player/screen over the internet with our cloud based content management software. And lastly, you’ll need content… still images, videos, etc.
* Android TVs can be controlled without a media player.
Can I use any TV?
Sure, as long as it has an HDMI input, you’re good to go… BUT keep in mind how long you want to have the screen on each day. Running a consumer grade TV 24/7 is likely to dramatically shorten it’s useful life; in this case you might want to consider upgrading to a commercial grade screen rated for 24/7 run time.
What happens if my players/screens lose internet?
Nothing happens, after all; The show must go on! All content, play instructions and scheduling is downloaded to the media player. Your screens will continue to display your content as intended for at least 30 days without an internet connection.

Our small lightweight media player is slightly larger than a deck of cards, so it’s easy to hide behind virtually any wall mount. Connects to internet via ethernet cable or WiFi.
